​3.  Confirm your age category and race distances

Athletes MUST race in their age category based on their age as of December 31, 2026.  As an example, your athlete may be 7 now, but if he/she turns 8 by Dec. 31, then he/she will race as an eight-year-old.  Click Here to see Age Categories & Distances.

 

4.   Estimate your swim time

When you register, you will be asked to submit an estimated swim time, in the format mmss (ex. 0410), which is 4 minutes and 10 seconds. 

• What Does This Mean?  You should enter your best estimate for how long it will take the athlete to swim their full race distance. This will ensure that the athlete is placed in a swim heat with other swimmers of similar speed.

• What Do The Numbers Mean? For example, 0410 would be 4 minutes and 10 seconds.  Notice there is no colon between the minutes and seconds.

• What If I Have No Idea?  Don't worry - you're not the only one!  Just make your best guess for now.  You can change it later.  You can always check out previous results here to get some idea.

• What If I Need To Change My Swim Time?  You have until June 14 to make changes to your swim time.  Just send us a quick email at swim.woodystriathlon@gmail.com. 

 

5.  Consider Being a Volunteer

In order to put on a safe, organized race we need over 100 volunteers each day!  Please consider giving us a few hours of your time!
